Our Advisory groups

The Irish Aid Expert Advisory Group and the Development Education Advisory Committee offer independent policy advice on the overall direction of the Irish Aid programme and on development education to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Minister of State for Trade and Development .

Irish Aid Expert Advisory Group

The Irish Aid Expert Advisory Group was established in 2011 to offer ‘independent advice to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Minister of State for Overseas Development on the aid programme.’

Development Education Advisory Committee

The DEAC offers policy advice to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade on development education and on ways of increasing knowledge and understanding of development issues in Ireland.
