Civil Society Funding

We support the work of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and other Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) for long-term overseas development, development education and the delivery of emergency assistance and recovery through a range of funding streams administered by Irish Aid HQ.

Civil Society Programme Funding

Irish Aid provides multi-annual programme grants to long standing NGO partners.

Civil Society Project Funding

We hold an annual competitive grant round for overseas development projects proposed by NGOs

Development Education Funding

We provide annual grants in support of projects which raise public awareness of global development

Emergency & Recovery Funding

This funding allows NGO partners to respond effectively to disasters and humanitarian crisis

Support for Other Civil Society Organisations

We support international and Irish CSOs that help deliver on our policy objectives.
