Ireland today pledged a further €5 million to fund humanitarian relief in Yemen. The funding, provided to the Yemen Humanitarian Fund, will provide critical aid to people affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the country.

Colm Brophy T.D., Minister for Overseas Development Aid and Diaspora, today launched the 2022 Our World Irish Aid Awards, enabling thousands of primary school pupils all over Ireland to learn about sustainable development and Ireland’s role in tackling global poverty and climate change. This year’s theme is Wellbeing for People and Planet.
Congratulations to all participants at BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition 2022 and in particular to the winners of the Self Help Africa/ Irish Aid Science for Development Award.
Irish Aid's current Programme Grant (PG) II and Humanitarian Programme Plan (HPP) will come to an end in December 2022.

On 8 March 2021, Minister of State for Overseas Development and Diaspora, Colm Brophy, T.D. launched Ireland’s Climate and Environmental Finance Report 2019. The report sets out the financial support provided by Irish government departments in pursuit of the objectives of the Rio Conventions.
