Irish Aid during World War II

Ireland’s vision for sustainable and just world is not a new one. For many decades, Ireland has focussed on assisting the most vulnerable people in the world.

This photo gallery illustrates how Ireland provided humanitarian assistance to those affected by World War II, distributing food and non-food items to Italy, France and Albania between 1947 and 1952.
