Fr. Michael Kelly's lecture on Aspects of Gender and HIV from the World AIDS Day lecture on the 28th November 2013.

Professor Father Michael Kelly has lived and worked for 50 years in Zambia and is a tireless advocate on HIV and AIDS, particularly in the interaction with education, but also in other policy areas such as strategies for HIV prevention and human rights aspects. In recognition of his work, Professor Father Michael Kelly was awarded Honorary Degrees by University College Dublin in 2006 and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2012. He was also honoured by the Minister of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for his work on HIV and AIDS. Most recently, he received the Presidential Distinguished Service Award for the Irish Abroad.
